AUTHORS
Raquel Echenique is an illustrator and designer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She has illustrated more than twenty books for various publishers, including Amanuta, Lom and Ekaré Sur. She has received important honors, including a spot on the 2006 IBBY Honour List for La niña de la calavera (written by Marcela Recabarren) and the 2012 Colibrí Medal in the informational book category for El Alerce, gigante milenario (written by Alicia Hoffmann), both published by Editorial Amanuta.
