Book: Chile, Geometry of the Instant
This book, entirely in black and white, was born after the author's most recent exhibition, in which he presents his distinctive view of the Chilean landscape, focused on the abstract and minimalist. In this aesthetic direction, the photographer seeks to move away from the obvious and toward an unusual landscape. His intention is to construct a new image using the elements offered by place and moment — a real image, certainly, but not for that reason a literal one. A perspective that requires no staging or gimmicks, during or after the shot.
