This is such a lovely book — the story is really engaging and does a great job of illustrating the Yámana way of life in a way that's easy for kids to understand. We truly love this whole collection of legends.

AUTHORS
Marcela Recabarren studied journalism at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She worked at Paula magazine and is the author of La niña de la calavera, El cóndor y la pastora, La música de las montañas, and El niño y la ballena, all published by Editorial Amanuta.
Bernardita Ojeda studied design at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She is the creator and director of the animated series Clarita, Helados, Chanchiperr and Hostal Morrison. As an illustrator, she has worked on several educational projects and La Cenicienta, from Editorial Amanuta, among others.
