Cortinarius Magellanicus Mushroom Design Socks
People Socks' Fungi of Chile design socks come from our collaboration with Garuga, inspired by nature and those species that often go unnoticed, yet play a vital role in our ecosystems.
The star of this design is Cortinarius magellanicus, also known as the violet webcap, a striking mushroom found in the forests of southern Chile and Argentina.
Small, quiet and essential: fungi serve important functions within ecosystems. That's why we wanted to bring one of them to our socks and, through design, highlight the incredible biodiversity around us.
This People Socks x Garuga collaboration aims to represent species from our nature and remind us of the importance of getting to know it in order to learn to protect it.
The socks are made from excellent-quality combed cotton, softer and more durable, for all-day comfort. They also feature cushioned reinforcement at the toe and heel for extra durability.
