AUTHORS
Paloma Valdivia is an author, illustrator and book editor, with a design degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a postgraduate degree in Illustration from the EINA School in Barcelona, Spain. Her main passions are stories, illustrations, books, and above all, children. She has received numerous awards and honors, including an honorable mention at the 2014 Bologna Children's Book Fair for Caperucita Roja (Little Red Riding Hood), and the 2018 Fundación Cuatrogatos award for her book Nosotros ("Us").
Carles Ballesteros is a Catalan artist from the University of Barcelona with a postgraduate degree in Illustration from the Eina School in Barcelona, Spain. He currently lives in Chile and works as an illustrator for England, Spain and Chile. In 2012 he illustrated Blanca Nieve en la casa de los enanos (Snow White in the House of the Dwarves), a poem by Gabriela Mistral; in 2013 he illustrated Yo tenía 10 perritos and Estaba la rana for Editorial Amanuta.
