A Little Yellow Caterpillar
By Lulú Corcuera
Illustrated by Paloma Valdivia
Read and sing along to one of the popular songs by the musical group Mazapán.
Mazapán: the text is the lyrics to a song by the beloved Chilean children's music group Mazapán.
Perfect for little ones: to read and sing together as a family.
Simple language: rhymes that make it easy to read.
Una cuncuna amarilla is an illustrated version of the song of the same name, composed in 1981 by Lulú Corcuera for the musical group Mazapán, of which she has been a member since 1979.
Through vibrant colors and double-page illustrations, this book's message goes far beyond a caterpillar's natural transformation: it's a love letter to changing shapes, a call for patience with what's to come, and a celebration of diversity and freedom.
Could a caterpillar one day fly like the birds that enjoy the sky? The answer lies in this heartwarming story that reminds us of the importance of trusting the process and, through respect and patience, becoming the best version of ourselves.
