Nataniel Cox Méndez, whose pen name was Pug, was one of the most notable Chilean illustrators of the early 20th century. He began his career at El Diario Ilustrado in 1902, drawing weekly humorous vignettes, and later joined the founding team of the renowned magazine Zig Zag in 1905. In just three years of work, he made a name for himself in Chile's thriving graphic art scene, earning admiration from both experts and the general public. But his early death in 1908 brought his brief career to an end. This book collects all the illustrations he published between 1902 and 1905.
