Shaped like a hen with its feathers opening into a scalloped-edge bowl, this piece comes from the hands of a group of women potters from Guangualí, in northern Chile, who over 30 years ago revived the ceramic tradition of their ancestors.

Shaped and fired at high temperatures in stoneware ceramic, each piece has a rustic, warm look: ochre-toned glazes and oxide lines that fall like feathers, with unique finishes — no two pieces are exactly alike.
