REVIEW
The frog loves to sing, but every time she wants to, a new animal appears and makes her be quiet. Why won't they let her? It seems night has fallen and it's time for bed: Shhh! This is an adapted, illustrated version of the well-known folk song, keeping it alive for today's children.

The material, illustrations and size make this book perfect for preschool-age children. I gave it to my daughter when she was 1, and now at 2 it's still her favorite book. Since it's a rhyming book, we can give it rhythm and build phonological awareness (a skill needed later for learning to read and write). All in all, I'm delighted with the publisher and the authors.
